Personally I wouldn't do it b/c the wing is such a distinguishing feature. I have trouble trying to get people to race me now, b/c most domestic guys think i have some civic that isn't worth wasting gas on (and i have a yellow evo with the tall boy) With the spoiler, they think that you have a sports car or you are overcompensating for your slow car with appearance mods (and would love to crush your fragile ego). Also, the entire car is purpose built. Every peice of styling serves a functional purpose. Thus, removing/adding things for purely aesthetic reasons is sort of ricey and against the purpose of the car.

It is still a bad *** car, spoiler or not.
I wouldn't do it, but that shouldn't stop you.
