Pardon my ignorance, but you said "I finally test drove the M6 (last time was A4)."

What does that mean? What's an M6?

Oh, ok, now I remember what an M6 is. Just get one of those.

 

I was looking at both of those cars to.. in the end evo = superior.

 

Oh sorry, M6 = manual 6.... thats how the GTO owners say which type of transmission they have. A4 or M6.

I WISH i could buy a BMW M6.... those things are amazing.....

bdking- Yes the EVO is superior in terms of performance (all around). However, the GTO is a lot stronger from a roll at any given MPH. The EVO will destroy the gto in braking, steering feel, handling ability, launches.

 

Oh, that explains a lot. I was wondering why the sudden jump in price point. Let me know what you think of the EVO. The GTO definately sets the bar high.

 

Last time i checked, the bmw m6 wouldnt be available till like mid-late 06. He had to have been talking about trannys.
