Even thought I voted becareful.. your not driving a cavalier, more like a rally car, that was made to be beaten to crap and last it. Aslong as you do the maintanince ruitinely you will be fine. Was this thread going to affect your driving habits anyway, or just giving you an idea when to save money up for repairs?

look at my mods, makin close to 400 hp- i drive it hard everyday and still running stock clutch. u dont need to be worried with the mods you have.

Do you guys recommend swapping out the timing and balancer belts for super strong belts right away? Has anyone actually snapped a timing belt? just wondering because this would obviously trash the engine...

I haven't heard of anyone breaking there belt. I would change it if you are changing the cam gears and cams. just because you already have it off.
