I would have to say Buschur or Vishnu are probably 2 of the most recognized. The Buschur exhaust shaves alot of weight and puts out some great power with their custom muffler or the Magnaflow.

If you go Buschur and don't like too loud of an exhaust go with the Magnaflow.

I had both mufflers (ss and magnaflow). The ss muffler sounds phenomenal at WOT, but is just a little too loud for me during cruising speeds. The magnaflow idled a little quieter and still sounded nice at WOT.

I only have experience with the Buschur system and if you do decide to go that route buy the 02 replication sensor from them for like $20 and have it installed at the same time the exhaust is put on to prevent EGR check engine light codes from popping up.

^ I concur 100%; the buschur w/ their muffler (not the magnaflow) is by far my favorite setup ever.

I have the Vishnu Signature TBE w/ decat and it's amazing. It's not as straight as their standard kit, but the sound more than makes up for it. It isn't loud at all at idle or easy driving, but when you get on it it gives a nice throaty growl. Quality wise it's top notch in welds and bends. Plus when you opt for exhausts like Buschur and Vishnu you get full 3" piping where as the "JDM" exhausts tend to taper.

I'm definitely enjoying my RS*R ex-mag catback! It makes a great deep note, but isn't too loud...but like you said, there's quite a few exhausts out there for our cars.

Lovin my AMS, great sound at idle and cruize, mean when u jump on it, and good looks to boot. Most catbacks have close to the same power gains, pair it with an intake or k&n you'll notice it a bit more, also helps with the sound. A bit off topic, but another thing to consider is a highflow cat or test pipe and downpipe as they will change your sound if u plan on getting them in the future, loud will get louder

If I had the money, JIC probably the litest exhaust you'll find - titanium build throughout and hollow s.s. hangars to save weight lol. I've heard the Buschur and I personally don't like exhaust tone at any point in throttle ESPECIALLY for a daily driver -but that's just me. Second choice would be HKS Carbon-Ti. Third, custom 3.5" :-d

boo, who cares about weight when it's only a 15lb saving lol. It's all about quality and craftsmanship, having said that you should know why the JIC isn't the best in that aspect [it's a slip on configuration, so there's been tons of horror stories of them disconnecting] they do look bombdigity though.

customized 3in straight piping with almost no bending w/megan 3inch muffler. (cat back)
megan turbo muffler is too small.
but i like the "almost" straight piping.
i felt big power after but it's little too loud because of straight through muffler.
i think all the straight through mufflers are loud w/ turbo.
so far so good. and it's cheaper this way
