HKS TT TYpe 1 - 0 - 60 mph = 3.81 s

i have a HKS turbo timer, and i use it to measure my 0-60mph times. my mods so far are HKS RS intake, MBC @ 20 psi, buschur turboback, greddy bov, buddy club 264/272 cams, SAFC. (no walbro fuel pump yet)

i just wanna know the accuracy of my turbo timer. with my mods above, do you guys think it is possible to hit 3.81 seconds? i revved til 5k RPM, then slipped it slowly. it was a pretty cold night during summer, around 75 degrees.

i just wanna know the accuracy of my HKS turbo timer, it may of off. i did another run and hit 4.2 seconds.

also, another question, do you guys know how to adjust the speed reading of the turbo timer. right now, it is reading the wrong speeds, im only going 40mph, but it reads 80mph, i think its maybe because when i had a flat tire it happened, but i got the tire fixed but its still the same. this happened just recently, but when i measured the 0-60, the mph reading wasnt like this.

Suspension mods? Tires? Tires are the biggest influence on this

Have you ran your car at a track yet? Based on your 1/8 mile ET and MPH you could get another estimate to compare but it would also only be an estimate. I would say sub 4 second 0 - 60 is definitely possible with the mods you have and a very good launch. I put in a few of my 1/8 mile stats and got a 3.67 and 3.73.

Here is the link 0 - 60 mph calculator

This is usually good within a tenth or two.

Very possible with your mods and with the 6spd as long as you held 2nd all the way to 60, but very unlikely with that launch style unless you've perfected at the drag strip and pull consistent 1.6x or low 1.7s.

Btw, on DragNRacing's link, my 1/8th-mile equates to a 3.2, haha. Probably inflated (or deflated), but I definitely think I'm in the sub 4-sec range...

I'd believe some of these numbers for an awd car. I just punched the numbers in for my basically stock Viper and came up with 3.3 seconds - no way in hell it's that fast.

Interestingly, my stock 1/8th mile et/mph of 8.4 at 80 equates to a 4.73, haha. That's only on a 1.92 60', but I'm willing to bet that those magazine testers do no better than 1.9 with the 5k limiter still connected, so that's right on.

After adding my S-AFC and disconnecting the 5k limiter, I dropped down to a 8.17 at 84 on a 1.76 60', which equates to a 4.17. Interesting...

Ater hearing the Viper's 3.3, I would have to agree I would say it could be .5 seconds off or more but should be more accurrate for AWD cars. It would be nice if somebody made one that was based on the 330....well at least for those of us that can hit 60mph by then.
