Thank you!!!!!!

GSR = Grand Sport Racing? ...I doubt it...if so, sounds kinda..lame, no? If this is what it stands for, then OK...nice going mitsu!

RS = Racing Sport? LOL

MR = ok, this is more plausible, cause it's Mitsubishi Racing...but the others...I dunno.
I like to think that RS stands for racing stripped.
Go rollups.

I'm going to assume this is a joke. Camgears do not make noise. Transfer cases and differentials do however.

Gotta love the TSB stating "growling" is normal!

I think the Evo is the only factory car that viciously growls like a mad dog with rabies.

funny you mention that...I had driven my friends 03 before I got my 05. I thought that my car's steering definitely felt slower and the ride felt softer. I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me

No, he's not joking. He started off by saying his brand new 05 was making a weird noise from the turbo and asked everyone what it was. No one has a clue, but he continuously responds to his own thread asking everyone over and over. So, then he later diagnoses it somehow and says it's the stock cam gears making this noise, so he makes AN ADDITIONAL THREAD for the same problem, but changes the source from turbo to cam gears. No one can answer that idiocy either, but he again responds to himself over and over and over instead of going to the damn dealership with his brand new 05 that has almost no miles on it. So, here we are again in ANOTHER THREAD, and he tries to jack it by slipping in his retarded question one more time. It's a neverending trend with this guy...it's gotten so ridiculous that I don't even respond anymore. Why the mods allow him free reign of his stupidity is beyond me...

Why take it to the dealer if:
i found out it was the camgears
You seem to have diagnosed it perfectly as it stands. Ever thought about a future as a tech?
