Please Break down Alky Injection for me

Think of pump gas as bottled water and alcohol as Red Bull, crack cocaine and crystal meth all rolled into one. Doesn't "make more power" all by itself, but it allows you to do things that wouldn't otherwise be possible with pisstane pump gas.
Exactly, or just get Al from Dynoflash's new two stage flash and you will be set
...he has tons of information posted up about the alky

Now your high boost area of the map is tuned for use with alcohol.
When you do not want to run alcohol (not sure why you would ever want to not run it.... but you asked) just turn your boost down to 20 psi. No alcohol is sprayed below 22 psi.
Ta Da!
Now, please explain to my why you would not want to run alcohol at any given time? Cheap, works great, and lets you run higher boost with more agressive timeing.

Both higher boost and more timing make power. But both have their limits..for boost its turbocharger efficiency, VE, intake charge temps, etc....for timing it's usually ~23degrees BTDC on 4g63 applications figuring a ~8.3:1 compression ratio and a 11.5:1a/f; thereafter you're going to lack power and just induce/exduce unnecc. heat. Also, high boost and high timing= VERY prone to detonation, if not throwing a rod out of your block, so there is a limit and its a fine line depending on various items aforementioned including a/f. Anyyyyyways, personally I prefer boost over timing.
I'm going with the Alky kit in November. What I've talked to David about is getting the 20g installed, 660 injectors, and the alky kit. I want to have the kit programed to shoot at 21psi and boost to 25psi. Going to have Al tune it on the dyno for this.
I don't foresee having to fill the tank that often because I don't boost this high a lot. But when I do, hopefully I'll get the rush!
Hopefully, my current 263whp on David's dyno will finally break the 300whp mark. He seems to think so!
