110 leaded race gace

Can anyone tell me what the long term effect of using leaded race gas will do. I know it will damage O2 sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, and injector will get clogged.
If there is anything esle please reply.
93octane gas here is $3.48 a gallon
110octane is $3.53 a gallon
100octane is $4.69 a gallon

Thanks
Chris

Mainly the O2 will get fouled. If you can, try to get the cheapest, higher octane unleaded gas you can get. It's too bad that the leaded 110 costs less than the 100octane, because if you could use 100 on a daily basis, you'd be in heaven. 110, even moreso, but using it too often is gonna cause problems like you mentioned.

The fuel pump won't be damaged, at least not to my knowledge. Your 02 sensor will be ruined and if you have cats, so will they.

Oh crap, I was assuming he had a test pipe when asking about leaded gas. Crap again, it says bone stock in his sig.

DON'T USE LEADED GAS WITH THE STOCK CAT! Ok, that's all.

To use 110 leaded you will need a test pipe and be prepare to replace the O2 sensor in the long run. So far, my O2 is still fine.

depending on the brand of 110 leaded gas you are buying the life expectancy of the 02 sensor will be aproximately 50 hours. not all leaded gas has the same amount of lead per gallon. vp 110 has 4 grams of lead per gallon other brands may be different. lower lead would mean longer life. the cat will die fairly quickly so definatley get a test pipe or hollow out the cat. keep in mind that the 02 sensor is a dealer only item and runs about 250 dollars.

what if I mix 2 gal. of leaded 110 w/ 12 gal. of 91 unleaded gas. Will it effect me as much, not at all??? Will my O2 and cat be ok since the mix is only like 15% leaded (2gal out of 14gal is 14.xx%). I've read a lot of stuff on here bout leaded gas, I know it ruins cats and O2's, but is that when you run more then a 50% mix of leaded. I was wanting to do this cuz 110oct. & 100oct. here is the same price, also I wanted to do this 2-4 gas tanks a month, I fill up bout 15 times a month, so thats also bout 15% of the time I want to run a 15% leaded mix, will it be bad? Does anyone know for sure either way (not in theory, but have actully done it ie..like you've done it for a yr and nothings happen or you did it a couple times and ruined your O2)

from what i have been told, if you use the leaded for lets say a track day and then use unleaded for the rest of the time the lead will be burned off by the regular. i am not for sure on this but this is what i was told by a guy who builds motors for a living.

Don't do it. You will kill your cat even with the lower concentration, and you won't get a power gain anyway, since you don't have a way to tune for it.

Do the 100 unleaded and be done with it. That will not hurt your o2 sensor nor your cat, but will give a little knock resistance in case you needed it.
