since alot of you have watched the vid, what are the analysis. That is a 500hp car, was traction a issue, or the weight of the viper? what do they dyno at?i am at work so cant watch the vid.
I did not post this thread intending for it to turn into a "What did the Viper do wrong cause there's no way that Evo can be that fast" type of thread...
The owner of the Viper asked for 4 races (1 race his mis-shifted), trying all he could each time to possibely pull ahead. He was just as suprised as I was... I fully intended on losing by at least 3 cars. Right before the Viper, I ran a 380whp / 344wtq FD and walked it a lot harder than the Viper... and I fully intended on losing to the FD too.
Hell, I didn't even intend on passing around the video... just wanted to know how many people underestimate a well built stock turbo Evo. Seems like most ppl consider being AWD in a race that starts from a roll being an automatic 50% drivetrain loss... and this poll proved me right. =]
Enjoy folks, I'm off to work.

Vipers are FAST cars. Ive had the opportunity to drive several. They haul a$$ from a roll, and they turn, corner and brake better than the evo. As if people would expect different from an $80K+ sports car...
As for the race...im going to say viper by 1/2 to 1 car length.

i think you will be very surprised once you see the video. Also, i think some people are confused and think its the viper truck, but its actually the car.
