doesnt really help but when i was close to stock n on 91octane, i gave a viper a run for his money in the 1/8th. my buddi with 335whp is the viper killer at qualcomm 1/8th in san diego.

you guys are joking right? the srt10 viper is pretty darn fast. it puts down 500hp and 515+ft/lbs of torque to the ground! same weight, more power, better areodynamics...it seems pretty open and shut to me.

there is a big difference bettwen a mid 90's RT and a 2003+ SRT!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Those figures are to the crank, not hte ground. Go to the Viper forums, most are putting down 425-440rwhp stock.

 

ask for a race with a local viper owner and really find out!
I drove a 05 viper the other day (again ) and
Lets just say you would have it for 4 seconds max and then hit reverse

I hope anyone that watches that race understands that something was seriously wrong with that race. Either the driver weighs 300lbs and the passenger does too or he is the most inept driver on the planet.

The video doesn't lie, but don't start fooling yourselves that a bolt on EVO will beat a SRT-10. Go to any of the viper forums and see that any compentent driver will be trapping 120mph-122mph bone stock. There are multiple posts on both forums, so even though this video proves otherwise just know that track times say a SRT-10 will be faster in most cases.

Good race and that viper driver needs a little practice.
