You can order the oil from many different vendors. I've never had a problem with the oem stuff in the transfer case.. I do change it fairly often. Every 2-3 oil changes.

I wouldn't move it til you put the diaqueen in. Just to be safe you may want to flush it like a pint or more of fluid.

He wont sell you one if you dont need one, maybe you just have to change the fluid, or flush it out, I dont know, he does. His number is1-269-382-2669 good luck. call him, he might be working now.

Were the shavings in the fluid or just on the plug? Any pics or idea on the amount of shavings?

well, i had the fluids replaced about 200 miles ago and well i went back to my friends shop and emptied out the transfercase fluids, and they were as black as hell, plus shavings were visible in the light... first of all, i went to mitsubishi to pick up some diaqueen but they didnt have any, so they told me that 80w-90 gear oil will work the same...so thats exactly what i used in my transfercase... not even 200 miles and i come to see the fluid like i never changed it for years...what is it thats causing this? im taking it in on moday and will determine if its under warranty or not... car is completely stock...what do you guys think?
80 90 is the wrong sh**......put in the diaqueen...if youre really in a bind...im a bit far from you.....but i have some.
