Exhaust too quiet

I just got catback put on my car (AMS). It is a great looking peice and is definately helping my spool up time, but its just not that loud. It has a very deep, non ricey sound, but is hard to notice. I bet some of my friends (who aren't into cars) won't be able to notice. I don't know if I have too high of expectations for sound/loudness (my last car was a 96 Mustang GT with catback and offroad H-pipe). What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Add a downpipe and cat-delete...That will make your system loud.

Dont know why u'd want loud. Loud is not equal to faster and like me i'm sure you'd prefer to get faster. The guys gave great answers but if you really want loud. you can have it for free if you lost the complete exhaust.

Back to serious - remove cat and downpipe. You should get a few added horses out of this also.

Just run it with an open downpipe and you'll be fine.

I had AMS install my TBE with high flow cat last week and it is a nice system. Its loud even with a resonator, sounded like my RNR tbe with carbon ti. I wished it sounded queiter but oh well I'll live it. I just keep thinking myself of how my car would sound in one of those videos where Eric did 9sec in the quarter mile. What can be done to limit the sound some more?
