You are mostly agreeing with me! Street tune = more realistic load and therefore a better way to make final adjustments. Seems backwards to get things dialed in on the street and then make the final adjustments when the car is under an artificial load.

It makes more sense to me to use the dyno to find what works for power (especially timing adjustments) and then use the street to make sure that the AFR is right in the real world and that the car has a decent safety margin from the knock threshold under real world load.

Since I like to spend a causual 3 - 4 hour tuning a AEM equiped car I do it on the street and then take it in for a quick half hour on the dyno to see how much power its making. In reality thyere is no need for a dyno. I tune my race car strickly on the track. Dynos are just to see how much power its making - at least for me

I'll keep everyone posted, dont worry, gotta get all my papers scanned, photo'd and uploaded...probably after this weekend though cuz of the HIN in Atlantic City, ill be there!!!!...I love that butterfly header, jet coated, equal length, and lifetime warranty!!!!!!!! you cant beat that....to all those that criticize the 3076R, only listen to those who actually have it on their car and are tuned properly...you can check dynoflash vendor forum..i kinda got lazy and cut n paste but Al explained what my car was doing...25 psi w/ alcohol w/ RnR gt3076r kit w/ aem speed denisty / 93 octane = super pull on road!!!!!!! = 420+ horses w/ slipping clutch!!!

i would recommend this kit to road racers and draggers alike..more road race though cuz im sure if guys wanna push 30-35 plus psi this setup will die out up top in the rpm...but if your looking to strictly drag, why not go gt35-gt40-gt42..**** the low end and nos it up to cover for the lag...this kit does not lag one bit !!!!!!! ill have dyno slips next week, and 1/4 mile times once my clutch is broken in , not broken!!!!!!
Still, with a slipping clutch, there might be more left on the table...

I think people are analyzing theese fuzzy numbers too much before this guy gets his car set-up with supporting mods (clutch,ignition)..Just my 2 cents

Yea seriously, you guys analyze too much...the thread is not useless because of the lack of dyno charts...i posted this thread beacuse I wanted to help others on the forum that are interested in this same turbo setup. Like Al and I have mentioned, the numbers may seem low only because your making as much power as your weakest link. Mine was my igniton and clutch. Im sure once those two crucial parts are replaced with parts that are up to par, my car will be pushing more HP with the magic touch of DYNOFLASH!!! Dont hate----participate mah neezys!

Same power with stock turbo...I really doubt that unless your talking about race gas. And my power is all up top, while the stock turbo dies out up top. I have much more flow with this turbo and I dont think its a correct comparison with a stock turbo.

Like I mentioned before, those that actually have the same setup can criticize, but those that are just reading forums and responding to others with reference to literature should really think twice before they say anything.

Just trying to help and let others know that the gt3076r rocks, pruven rocks, dynoflash rocks, and those that hate can kiss my *** ill see you at the track!

Okay, that makes sense. I agree that street tuning and track tuning is all you need. Ideally, you would street tune customers' cars and then do the final tuning at the track, but I understand why that's probably not possible generally.

there are stockers on this forum that are getting 420 whp+ on this forum but they have all supporting mods, cams, exhaust, dp etc. and from what i can recall they all are using 103 octane or more and all push over 25psi of boost. with that much boost they are only make 20-22 psi by redline if that and its just not as smooth of a powerband as ur gonna get with a gt series turbo!

Fo shizzle nizzle....and its all about using pump gas...im not spending $100+ on race gas on a daily driven car. 93 octance + alcohol is good enuff for me
