Maybe he gets sick of little kids waving at him who apparently have nothing else going on in their life except their car. I mean, it's not a club or some kind of accomplishment. It's just a friggin car.

 

haha...if you didnt like that, i don't recommend you waving or giving thumbs up to STi's.

 

ouch, lighten up guy, a regular joe doesnt go out and buy an evo, its an enthusiasts car, so when you see another guy have one, you feel a certain bond with the guy and sometimes wanna give a thumbs up

I agree. But then saying there's something wrong with the guy or calling him names because he's to busy or doesn't respond is unfair. Beleive it or not there are some people who bought the car because they just wanted an AWD performance sedan. Not because they wanted something they're going to build their life around.

 

There's so many Evos driving around here... Everyone from teenagers to old grey hair guys with their whole family + pet driving around in them. Not everyone who buys a Evo is gonna be a Evo enthusiast. They just buy it to have a nice performance car that is somewhat practical.

I usually look and wave if they look friendly, if they don't oh well.

My last thought: Why _wouldn't_ you acknowledge the gesture from someone with whom you share something relatively unique in common? I mean it's just common decency. I can understand if you don't see it or you're not really paying attention, but to directly see someone and intentionally turn away or react negatively is just plain rude. And if you just automatically hate other Evo owners, the why the hell are you one?
