I wash and wax my brembos when I rotate the tires (twice so far). Any idea if this will help deter the fading/peeling problem?

i'm sayin what if they scuff it and then quick buff it out so it looks fine... will the fact that it was scuffed cause it to start to fade in that spot?

I don't think Brembo will deal with the warranty issue but Mitsu. Mitsu is the one who issues the new warranty on the new parts.
Brembo is the one who probably design the brake caliper but they did not mass produce it. I think it's called Sumitomo who actually manufactures the caliper.
Just call up the other dealer it it happens again.

When my spoiler went bad, it was quick. It went from perfect, to the whole top part and one of the sides being faded and blotchy in like 2 months.

i had the spolier replaced about 6 months ago no problems. The main reason that the paint peels off the calipers is that either cold water is deposited on the caliper when its hot or just simply driving in heavy rain when your brakes is hot ie stop and go traffic. These calipers from the factory come with a minimum amount of clear coat. The clear coat is not designed for anywhere near the heat that the brakes gives off. Its obvious because everyones paint is peeling. Oh, and use mothers carnuba wax on the spoiler because it helps protect the spoiler from UV rays. I had the car dealership use a strong coat of clear coating that protects against UV rays not the generic kind that mitsu or a paint shop uses.

That would make since about my brakes (lots and lots of rain lately), what product did you ask them to put on. What dealership did you go to? Leith?

Your lucky that this storm is going to touch you bro, not really worried myself. But the OBX and coastal cities are going to get trashed.

I went to sale auto mall in kinston. They hooked me up with the clear coat. Some stuff that the BMW's use. Real high waulity stuff. the clear coat was real glossy but rought to the touch. It smoothed out with the passing months.

My spoiler and both front calipers are being replaced by the dealer this week for these same clearcoat issues.

So once the fading starts its going to get progressively worse even if I wax it more often?

I bought my evo used. Do I have warranty for this because I have the same problems or am I on my own?

Both my wing and calipers are good and I use wheel cleaner on the calipers themselves when I clean my wheels. No signs of peeling yet so I dont think mitsu saying its wheel cleaner causing it is correct. I keep my car in my garage for about half the day so maybe that helps the wing.

As for the warranty, the replacement parts should carry the same warranty as your car. As in, if you get them replaced the day before you run out of factory warranty, they are out of warranty the next day with your car. Or if you get them done with 3 years left, you have 3 years left on the new parts.
