Exclamation 400 to spend...help

well i've been debating on what to spend my money on. it's either i get a dynoflash or mbc and fuel pump. do you guys recommend getting one over the other first or it doesnt really matter. my objective is to hit 300hp without putting a dent in my bank account. any suggestions?

Get the Dynoflash. If you get the MBC you need to get AFC to get the most performance. There really isn't a need for a fuel pump with the stock turbo unless you are pushing it to its limits which you wouldnt be doing without an AFC.

Not true on the MBC/S-AFC comment.

I would suggest you get a flash, mbc, and boost gauge for $400.

Dynoflash = $199
Forge Unos MBC = $89
Any boost gauge = $70-100

Total = $360-390

Don't worry about the fuel pump until you have all the bolt-ons...

i would start freeing up the exhaust (AMS has a TBE for 575, that looks decent). then tune it.

if your stuck on the above mods...get a dyno flash.

He only has $400 to work with at the moment, although I agree that he should go for a $600 TBE as his next mod when he has the money...

I have the same concern.
have about $400-500 to spend and my current mods are intake, mbc

thinking about

Mail in flash
or put in some money for turboback or catback

I'm more towards mail in flash cause I kinda enjoy the sound of stock exhuast, but at the same time I also would enjoy the performance hp gain of the tbe

what u guys think?

save another 175$ then get in contact with Zeus on here. He is a Vendor of megan sells TBE for right around 575$ if I remember correctly.

If exhaust aint your thing go with Warrtalon's advise. except go with the Hallman from Switzer its 72$ and considered the best. Plus it's cheaper than the Unos.

If you plan on keeping that Intake I would go with a mail in flash from AL or TT and purchase a used cat back from the For sale section for 200-300$ I think theres a helix in there right now for 275.

Kilterman,

what you think about helix catback? I don't know much about this unit but it should gain about the same amount of hp with the other brands right?

I'm very much buying your idea. Thanks

More. It and Buschur last time I checked were a true 3' design and contained no neckdowns . IE 3inch that tapers to 2.75 in certain places. Buschur is lighter and more "ugly" because it is not coated. Both the Buschur pieces and Helix pieces had fitment issues which are now corrected. They are right in the neighbor hood of 800$ for a complete TBE.

My personal opinion about the Helix is positive. I have the version 1 with fitment issues but I was able to get it resolved outside of the forums by contacting Gruppe-S . I doubt you would encounter this as it has been corrected.

Be advised tho, as both these exhausts are LOUD and I like it some don't.

If you got the $$$ go with APS. Excellent Fitment Excellent rep. and one of the only 3.5' exhausts on the market.
