Because i want to maintian the integrety of the motor just a little bit....Untill its time to rebuild..in whitch ill be prepaired turbo wise.

Just like our stock turbos they can move more air but they dont ! so why is it not exceptable to have the gt35 at 60-75% and still maintain stock motor??

it seems most of you feel if i where to buy this turbo its all or nothing....

Honestly, I would look into the white rabbit or TME, or like someone said, the 20G. These don't require a huge amount of tuning and supporting mods like a GT35R does. All the money you are wanting to spend on a new turbo could get you the same results with the stock turbo if you just went with a turbo back exhaust, MBC, Intake, Flash, cams, etc. I would go that route if I were you.

The last thing you should touch on the car is the turbo. Just bolting on a bigger turbo is going to make the car slower and laggier and kill the fun of driving it. This is not a DSM where it comes with dinky garbage turbos. The turbo on the car already is very stout and people are running 28psi with the stock motor and stock turbo with alcy/meth injections.

Your car with 100 octane, turboback exhaust and a reflash would make healthy numbers. Dont go backwards modding the car, thats what it sounds like your doing. You start with the simple things and move up. Starting at the turbo is going assbackwards.

or is there a 20g by greddy??
The 20G is a modified stock turbo. The advantage of going with injection would be not having to find a gas station that sells 100 unleaded. You could use windshield wiper fluid and probably tune for 24 psi with reasonable timing or somewhere close to that boost pressure. Then you are not looking for unleaded gas nor are you paying the premium for it. You wouldn't have to spend alot of time under the hood. It would be just like filling your wiper fluid resevoir every 2 - 3 times you refill your gas.

That doesnt sound half bad, what effect does this kit have on the motor?

what we're wondering is why you feel the need to replace the turbo at all? you have no need to have it replaced yet, so spend your money on other stuff first, then when you surpass the output of the stock turbo you can upgrade and be able to make the correct decision about which turbo to go with. almost everything else you buy, regular bolts ons, will either carry over and you'll need anyways with the new turbo or you will be able to sell quite easily. also have you looked into where a gt35 is efficient? i can't say i have, but i'm guessing that if you're only making it do 60-75% of what it's capable of you're on the wrong side of the compressor map, meaning you shouldn't have the turbo

what does "maintain the integrity of the motor" mean? not blow up your engine? some bolt ons will give you plenty of power and won't blow it up, plus it'll be closer to stock than with a new turbo, so i'd say keeping the stock turbo will help you maintain the integrity of the engine more so than buying a new turbo.

just b/c a turbo is more expensive doesn't mean its the BEST FOR WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF IT. what you need to determine is what you want the car to do (autox, street, drag) and then add all supporting mods and THEN turbo.

No i really dont car what anyone thinks of my PAID off car or what turbo i run,
most people will fail to read yet ready to pop off the lip with flames!!!!!!!!!
on another note... noone cares if your car is paid off.

If you are looking for a turbo to complement the stock block and head, then a GT3071R is for you. Again I understand that you don't want to have to buy another turbo when you do rebuild the car, but with a GT3071 kit you will have the luxury of bolting that GT35R on in the future if you ever need to.

Oh, by the way I rarely post on here because I think it is a community made up of immature kids. It really puts a damper on this board. No one can ask a question about a setup without getting bashed on this board. It's ridiculous.

You got it backwards. It's a kid who posted this thread about installing a GT35r without supporting mods...
