Brake Issues and now dealership is Closed

Okay I was getting some shake when breaking on the highway so I brought the Evo in.... They told me all I would need is to have the rotor resurfaced.... Now unfortunately (1000 miles later) the car shakes even more... It is doing now around 40 mph breaking....

Now the real issue is that the dealer has closed its doors and no-one will really handle the issue because the dealership did the work...

Any suggestions?

And if not... Does anyone know the price of STOCKER Rotors and Stocker PADS?

OEM rotors and pads are very expensive.

I had exactly the same problem. Everything was checked, and I mean EVERYTHING, rotors replaced, pads replaced, tires balanced, steering angles fixed and even the lugnuts were changed. Nothing helped. In the end it urned out that tires were the problem. Due to many track days they were worn unequally (sorry my english, hope you understand what I mean). I changed tires and wheels and now the problem is history.

I think you're SOL on this ... seems like you have an 03 EVO and the warranty on the brake pads are long gone ... rotors "might" still have some warranty but most likely not ...

call up mitsu and scream like hell. a dealer did the work so they have to continue to cover it. complain long enough and it will get fixed im sure. just sucks that we have to argue with these assh*le dealers to get simple work done. by the way if youre talking about boch they have other service bays at their other dealerships. im sure if you complain to one of them someone will help you out

there is another thread like this about shaking when braking. my car does this too when i am braking, when i just lightly put my foot on the peddle just to so down a little, but if i hit hard in the brakes, there's no shaking. and if i get in the brakes hard 3 or 4 times, the shaking goes away. from what i've gathered reading about this prob is that it is pad transfer build-up, that's what causes the shaking. i know my rotars aren't warped cause after i hit them hard a few time, my brakes are normal.
