05 ecu?

05 ecu?

do you guy know that 05 ecu is different than 03-04 ecu on evo?

i just got new 05 and doing the same set up with my 03
by turbo back, hks suction kit, hallman mbc, bov, hks272's, greddy720cc with safc II.
i swap everything but on the high rpm and i change the gear, my car is not go right away, still don't know why. i set everything the same.

Do you have a wideband O2? The settings on your safc II for the 03 is use less and is dangerous. You can damage your engine. Get a wideband or a pocket logger to tune the safc II.

05 have ACD. I don't know if main ECU supposed to communicate to ACD ECU though.

If your settings are from your 03 it is possible. Different cars need different settings, the settings for your 03 maybe be good but for your 05 it might be too rich or lean. Get a wideband o2 or a pocket logger.

how much for those two thing? what band is good one?
anyway i don't know how to tune, so that mean i just go tune again or i need to buy those things and go tune.
