Ignition System

I have a question about '04 Evo VIII Coil-Pack, all the answers will be greatly appreciated.

I recently got the Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost controller on my car, and as far as I can tell, my coil-pack gave out. I have searched alot for After-Market coil-pack / wires / and spark plugs. I had good luck with wires and spark plugs, but I didn't come across any company that offers upgraded coil-packs. Reason why I think its my coil-pack, is because I upgraded the wires and spark plugs, and the car still jerks at normal boost. Do I go along with factory coil-pack (if it is the coil-pack thats messing up in the first place), or is there a company out there that manufacters Evo VIII after-market coil?

Thanks alot!

What kind of other mods do you have? Upgrading the coils usually isnt necessary below 350 whp. The Buschur coil-on-plug seems to be the way to go.

What do you mean by jerking? Are you sure it's an ignition misfire? The obvious first thing to rule out would be a boost leak.

The factory ignitionis good for 600 plus horsepower... You can upgrade if you want but there is no need.... I have put down over 600 with my factory coil packs and according the AEM and HKS Tuning Programs everything is good on the ignition spark....

Well it says Cylinder Misfire. I even went to the dealership and they are like, we never had problems with ignition. If its not ignition, what else could it be? I know for sure its not any type of leak, cause I checked that.

Thanks for your help...
