I agree with you guys on this OTD price is to-good-to-be-true. So I contacted the dealer again. 29,900 includes tax, tags, everything... Wouldn't all of costs be in the contract when you sign it?

OTD is final price with the plates on the car. If that is what your dealer is telling you then you got a very good deal. I still dont believe it but I hope for your sake he is hooking you up because you are serving your country. Happy Veterans day.

Venting...
I contacted my dealership again... I told him of the concerns I had of this "29,900" OTD deal being accurate. He wrote back to me saying, "I made a typo, the OTD price is 30,900, includes tax, tags, everything. " How is this dealership making a profit. I'm not too concerned with them making a profit, but isn't that why they are selling cars in the first place? I'm going to make some phone calls on monday, see what the real scoop is. It's hard dealing through email being overseas....

The dealership at my place was allready willing to give me MSRP sticker when i said i would be purchasing in about 4 months, this was with a trade in of a 8000 mile RSX Type-S, i wasn't even talking about pricing and just about when they would be getting a few IX (nonMR or RS) in.

That sounds like invoice + destination fee, but I don't think they included sales tax.

^^^yup. i was offered a GG IX (non-SSL) at invoice and it came to about $30,900 before TTL. i highly doubt your dealer is gonna eat the TTL fees on an '06...and no, there are no mitsu incentives he can use.

I got some paper work faxed to me the other day from the dealer. It's just a worksheet. 30,900 includes TTL , shipping/destination, and doc fees. Accessories would be extra at this point in time.

Planing on ordering it tomorrow.

I payed 18,000 and some change with a good trade in.. In the end paid a total of 36500 with a free cover for the new queen. I know I am new here, and no one probably cares, but just thought I would add my .02 cent

* oh yeah... its a 06 GG MR

Just paid $34,000.00 for a brand new GG EVO9 MR plus dealer fees etc. Is this a good deal? The processing fees are like $250.00.

$28k even for my RS. I think I paid either $26.5 or $27.5 for my '04 RS so I feel like the 06 is well worth it with the updates. They don't seem to stay on the lots very long down here, I think the 06 (and the 03-05 for that matter) are going to hold thier value very well if all the hub bub about the X is true...

All EVO's are gonna hold their value.....hell just look at the 2G AWD DSM's. They are selling at blue book and higher and they are no where near as good as an EVO.

All this talk about depreciation is only had buy the people buying brand spanking new. If you buy a used EVO and get a decent deal odds are will only lose about $500 per year on the car.
