Vishnu signature series exhaust problem

hanger busted off "see attachment" now i have a nice hole......wtf?

is this a common problem with this exhaust?

warrenty?

Mine had the strap that bolted to the transfer case it broke off,I welded up the hole.
Iupgraded the turbo so I installed a new down pipe. Make sure you check the
rear hanger right before the muffler,mine started to crack there.The muffler
is way to loud now .I think what ever they use for sound deadening gave up.
Irun a high flow cat also.Iam trying to find a new exaust so I can go cat less.

im curious..can u just bring that to a muffler shop and have them weld it?

mine did the same thing I had my mechanic weld it back, he charged me $30. no biggie!

an obvious defect in the welding (more than one person apparently has it) should be remedied by the original manufacturer, even if the remedy is to simply reimburse you after you have it fixed locally.

All of the stuff i have welded is done by a local shop, and if it ever develops problems they take good care of me. Hopefully the same is true in this case.

Yes you can, I do auto body so I just took it off and welded it up.Not trying
toflame Vishnu Ibelieve any time you weld you have a chance of weakening
metal on either side of weld, especially on stainless steel.

My press bent aluminized exhaust I had built by a muffler shop never had a hanger break off.
