05 Boost Pressure.....

Ok I Have an 05 evo 8. AMS Upper and Lower Hard Pipe w/ 50mm Tial, Buschur 3" TBE, HKS RS Intake.

I installed my boost guage (auto meter procomp ultralite) the car is peaking at 27lbs and is holding 23-24lbs through redline....... No MBC!!!!

My question is does the stock tune have enough fuel to keep me from blowing my motor?

I'm not getting any knock or missfires on the dataloger. I'll be getting a tune in a few weeks just incase i'll be running 110octane till then.

Can anyone help.?

chances are your boost gauge is off.... that is way too high, what does it read at idle? Should be about 15-20 in-hg....

the stock turbo can't even flow past 20 psi at 7k...so your boost guage must be off. Not sure why your logger is showing the same reading.

hmmm... not sure, maybe you need a tune, or get an MBC to set the boost level.. I have heard bad things about autometer gauges being inaccurate.... Also with that intake you should definitly get the tune....

The Gauge Is Off For Sure No Way Is That Boost Right You Would Hear And See So Much Boost Spike With Out A Tune At That Level Of Boost, you Would Think Your Exhaust Is Going To Blow Off The *** Of Your Car. Check Your Wiring On The Gauge.

it's a mechanical (vacum line) guage there is no wiring. it's plummed into the intake on it's own fitting.

And the dataloger is reading the same level......

I bet your vaccuum hose on your wastegate (or boost solenoid) has become disconnected. Fix it before you blow your motor. :P

Generally speaking, we only capitalize the first word in a sentence unless it's a proper name. Also might want to check on your use of punctuation. Seems to be a bit off. Ok, I'll stop there.
