There IS NO REV LIMITER when you downshift into the wrong gear. I estimate about 10,000rpms. You will lose your rockers off the lifters in some instances. Should be OK, but if a rocker comes out, the valve cover needs to be removed and rocker replaced.

In that case, the speed of the car & transmission gearing will shoot RPM's up to a rediculous number, causing the valve springs to be overworked and 'Float' (i.e. not uncompress in time) then you're pistons have a field day with them. If you had a case of Valve Float you would most definitely know, it would sound like a monkey f*cking a football with a tire iron in your motor.. If all sounds/runs well, dont worry about it
