No Comment if you traded an evo for a scion.

Nice looking Scion, but I believe you'll be extremely happy with your eventual choice of purchasing a 2005 EVO VIII MR or 2006 EVO IX, especially when you pass 270WHP on simple bolt ons. It's a tough choice between the two, the 6-Speed of the MR is really nice, but I really think the new IX with it's low end power should be great, also I really like the look of the EVO IX. I think you should go with the IX, because it's new and fresh, and dealers aren't marking up the prices at most locations. Also it would be very interesting to see how the new IXs take to mods and your in a position (as far as your job) to really test this out fairly quickly.

A turbocharged and tuned Scion probably sucks gas just as bad as an Evo, right? It doesn't seem like you would save on the gas bill after all those mods.

Anyway, I give you props for the custom work on that car. It's not easy being the first to try something.

This might sound crazy but can you keep the TC and get an new evo or get a used evo? For some reason I really like to TC and I think what you did looks good. try to get in on the 0% if it is still around.

You could always buy a brand new Evo w/Buschur upgrades from the dealerships in Ohio that sell them - full warranty is my understanding. It'd be a good start...

wow, i saw this car in N.H. and its not a ricer. i think its actually a pretty clean car. Everything was done really well. From what i know mitsu still does have 0%, so u should definitly get a move on it. but even if u dont, the scion's potential is there. the aftermarket should be coming around. What another month for SEMA to come around. You never know what is gonna come out and its only a couple of weeks away!

I would do an 05 if you can find one for the obvious pricing reasons, but also due to the possible changes complexities the 06 will have. The 06 has mivec, which could present some new tuning issues that will not be worked out right away. I'm sure that the tuners will get it all going the right way, but you sound like you want your car fast, and you want it done yesterday. Good luck and welcome back.

Your scion is a beautiful car man. Great job with it and I look forward to your future innovations and mods with the evo. Welcome back.

That Scion is SICK!! Nice car, but I'm getting rid of my HEAVILY modifed SRT-4 to go to the darkside also. I'm getting sick of waiting for my IX already.

I'll probably end up doing the same thing.....I pay for my car, insurance, gas, and mods myself, and it's just getting too expensive. Going to college full time gets in the way of making good money, which makes it difficult to pay for the car. I'm probablt getting a Scion cause it will cut my car payments and gas in half, and I will have a warranty that will be HONORED.
