Nice scion! Id say try to find an 05 MR if you can, however a regular 05 GSR would be much easier to find and a little cheaper.

Just to answer the fact that this was mentioned multiple times... I sold the Evo about a year or so ago because I was finishing college and at that time I had lesss hours at work, with lower wage, and had to drive a ton. Now that I graduated college with a business degree, and am a manager at a local Best Buy, I have much more money and almost no commute. I finished college in April and thats when the body kit was put on. I've only been modding the tC for a few months now, so as I now make more money, I'd rather dump it all into a platform I can really enjoy. Four doors is so much better as well...

Anyway... Thanks to everyone for the compliments on my ride, and no hard feelings to the guys who don't like it. I spent countless hours only putting everything in the way it should, and took my time with every part of the installs. I did ALL of the work myself in my garage.

Frankly I'm just too busy right now to be "customizing" parts for a car that no real companies want to fully support. It costs way too much, there's too much risk, and I don't get as much in return. Now if I keep my Scion, I'm buying a cheap SUV and getting a low trailer so I can tow it to the tracks. If I get rid of everything (I also have a 97 Civic hatch for a beater) and just buy an Evo, I can leave it mostly stock for the winter, then save up for some real mods in the spring. I just found out today that I scored a MAJOR hookup at a local mitsu dealership. My bro's GF owns the whole dealership and hooks us up with stuff as it is. I can get pretty much anything I want for a decent amount below MSRP. He even offered the Evo to drive for the day to make sure I like it. So it's either off to the dealer in the morning, or on Tuesday when I have my day off. If worse comes to worst I'll put a deposit on it until I can get my tC back to stock (few weeks) and then just take my baby home after. I really want a blue one, had the white. I'd settle for almost any color just because I really appreciate the car for what it is and don't won't to miss the opportunity.

Thanks again guys, and so far I've been looking into the 05 MR. It's going to come down to price, color, availability, and financing. I'll keep everyone posted.

Why the '05? The '06 is beautiful.

Wrong, he drives an AMS tuned EVO and is making around 330-340WHP. Sorry, I'll give him credit for the creativeness of his Scion, but it's not even close to same league as an EVO as far as aftermarket potential. Going to an EVO is the right choice and author knows this and that is why he created this thread.

Your Scion is nice. Hold off on any large purchases for a few months, and enjoy your new found fortune. You'll know if you really want to pony up for an EVO aftwards.
