Very cool and awesome to see someone doing something so different- but you can't compare it to the AMS evo. This car has had god knows what done to it to make a coupe. We aren't comparing apples to apples here.

norris designs is a great company with perfect demo cars.

for the first time out doing a 9.7........that's super impressive.
i would love to see this car and the AMS car use some nitrous!!!

 

This is exactly right. I'm not trying to bring down Norris Designs here or anything, I think it's amazing they're running that kind of time on street tires, but this isn't a fair comparison for AMS here. Even when (I'm assuming they're going to) this car gets faster than AMS, I wouldn't consider it the fastest Evo in the world.

 

after watching that vid over and over...that launch was horrible!!

it seemed as if the evo bogged. With a proper strong launch it should be much faster!

 

I'd like to have that two door short chassis Evo on an auto x course... with a much smaller turbo

 

it's doing the Top Gear track day (with the rest of the MLR) today, so you can see what time it got in comparison to all the supercars that go round etc...

Does anybody know if this car is running Crower's 2.3 stroker kit? I sent an email to RC Development, but never got an answer.

I want to talk with someone that actually uses this kit. Also, I read in another thread that their rev limit is 9000rpm. Anyone know if their is any truth to that?

 

By the way I am almost positive that this car is running the same turbo as AMS car. Thats where they also bought there manifold from.

 

congrats guys! Friendly competition is always welcomed. Yes this car is running A manifold we made for them and I believe a GT42R as well.
