Norris Designs 9.719 @ 147mph
the car is still damn fast
who cares what the weight is, it has 4 cyl, 4wd and it is fast.
if all the cars were the same weight and had the same power, it would be like nascar.
boring

you could compare and compare and at the end, it's all about tuning. You could say that my stock evo is better than both those because it doesn't have an aftermarket turbo, intercooler, clutch, tranny, manifold, exhaust, stroker...etc...
but you'd be wrong.
The Norris car is still an Evo, in the same way that other modified cars are still evo's...changing the size to reduce wight is merely a modification.
Anyway, Simon weighed the car in at 1160kg dry...so he still has 80kg to lose somewhere. Apparently Carbon Doors and a Carbon Propshaft are next.
All credit goes to the AMS Evo, as it's clearly an awesome car, which can pull off amazing times in the 1/4 mile...but you can't knock the Norris car....this man has thought outside of the box, and I have nothing but praise for him and his car.
Remember the Norris car is built to dominate ALL areas....drag, track and top speed...which I think it will do soon.
