Back from the track with the daily driver 9.88@144mph

Well, after making some adjustments to the suspension I headed back out to the track today. 1st pass of the day I went 9.89 @143mph with a 1.52 60ft.
So needless to say the suspension adjustment made the difference. Last time I was out it was only cutting mid to high 1.6's lighting up the front right tire and running consistent 10.20's.

2nd pass of the day it went 9.88 @144mph, then I backed it up with another 9second pass at 9.92 @143mph.

3 passes today and all were in the 9's I was extremely happy with it since today was just a highschool/sport compact event, they don't prep the track very well on these days, so I know it's got a 1.4x 60ft. in it.
This was all done on a BONE STOCK 2003 t-case with the stock open front diff
Car still weighs a ton at 3375lbs with me in it, full interior, indash TV/DVD player, 8 point cage, all NHRA safety equipment, ect. car is on Hoosier QTP slicks with FD rx7 wheels. Car is daily driven.

Here is the run down of the 9.88 pass

60ft. 1.504
330ft. 4.264
1/8th 6.461
mph 112.68
1000 8.322
1/4 9.886
mph 144.25

I think if I work on my 1-2 shift the 330ft. will come down to a 4.1 witch should put me around 9.70's.

short mod list is
2.3L stroker built by me (eagle rods, oem 2.4 crank, JE 8.5:1 pistons)
kelford 272 cams
super tech double valve springs
stock valves/guides
stock ports
HTA 3586r @37lbs
E85
JMfab drag version intake manifold
JMfab 4" thick FMIC
JMfab v-band exhaust manifold
no name brand 3" turbo back
FIC 1450cc injectors
dual walbros
AEM EMS tuned by me
built transmission by me
QM twin disc clutch (older 7.25" vdrive version)
stock t-case
stock ignition!!
stock rear diff
stock throttle body unported
ect ect.

Anyway, here is the video from today. I'm loving how consistent it is right now.

You did that on 1450 injectors and 272 Kelfords on a 2.3L? If there was no video I wouldn't believe it. What kind of WHP are you putting down and what is the race weight with driver? Good job either way

Well, I've built and tuned my share of 4g's lol. I had a mid 8second talon I built and tuned. So needless to say, I'm not scared to push the limits on this setup haha.

1450's are at 96% duty. I'm also on the stock fuel rail and FPR haha. The walbros are modded as well (pressure reliefs knocked down for higher pressures)
As far as WHP, no clue since it hasn't been on a dyno with this setup.

Weight is listed in the OP. 3375lbs race weight, that's with me in it and half tank of e85.
My other thread has pics of the weight on a digital scale at the track. And confirmed with corner scales as well.

As far as rpm shifting and what not, I'm shifting it right around 8500rpm, crossing through the trap in 4th gear at 8700rpm

This setup is very simple and basic, nothing too crazy...for now

Great job and excellent driving!! Going through the water box , seemed to work really well after a burnout. Do you always do that?
