Back from the track with the daily driver 9.88@144mph
Went back out this past saturday to our local import summer jam event. Ran 2 9second passes in 90 degree weather with garbage track prep again.
Ended up going to the finals with a SFWD integra from utah that had the new borg 72mm billet turbo on it. His car was trapping 155mph all day and in the finals I went 9.91 @149mph and he went 9.74 @155mph.
Although I don't think my MPH was right as I didn't change anything and I crossed through the trap at the same RPM as I always do, maybe a 100rpm higher, ET was spot on but MPH was off I think. I'm sure it was another 145mph pass. As much as I would love to say it went 149mph, I just don't think it did. I would have been on the rev limiter if that was the case.
So ya, I ended up taking runner up at this event.
Seems as I just can't get anymore out of this setup with what I have. A few things I need to address are
need a bigger throttle body
head needs to be ported, currently it's bone stock ports and valves with just valve springs and the kelford 272 cams
Need bigger cams.
I would love to see a 150mph pass out of the stroker with the 3586r, I know it can be done but I need to do some more work to the motor to get there as turning the boost up past 37lbs just isn't making anymore power. Funny thing is, the car runs the same ET and MPH in hot weather or even as cold as 55 degree weather. Makes no sense to me, but it is what it is I guess lol.
Anyway, here is the video of me in the finals against the SFWD integra from Utah. It was one of the best races I have had in a very long time, very very close race. I had him covered all the way to 1000ft then he MPHed me and beat me by barely a car length.

You said you built your tranny. What all did you do to it? Still would like to know your HP/QT? That was one hella of a close race you had. I see the other car do a burn out, it didn't look like you did though? Awesome driving man.
