Lately I have been doing burn outs and it does help, it cleans the tires off very well since there is a lot of sand/rocks in the pit area, so the tires pick up a ton of crap.

i am trying. you make it look so easy. haha.

can we get a slip brake down?

your on a 2.3l and i am on a 2.0 so that would make a difference i am sure. so asking you your shift points might be pointless.

that car just go's down the track like butter. very nice setup man. very nice

Thanks man, but it wasn't no picnic, it took me awhile to dial things in to get this turd to hook lol.

Break down of the slip is in my original post. But here it is anyway.
60ft. 1.504
330ft. 4.264
1/8th 6.461
mph 112.68
1000 8.322
1/4 9.886
mph 144.25

Making the slight adjustment to the rear height on the suspension made the whole difference how the car hooked. All I did is raise the rear up a little over a half inch higher then previous, and wam it went from 1.67 60fts down to 1.50.

LOL you don't wanna know haha. It's some put together junk I had laying around from my DSM days haha.

Tein lowering springs up front with OEM shocks
and some old Ground control coilovers in the rear with eibach springs (350lb springs) on stock shocks. The coil overs are from my talon haha, they fit!
Both front and rear OEM sways bars are still in the car.. So far for what it is, it's working. Until I can come up with some funds to get some AWD D2 coilovers for it.

Thanks man for the kind words.. Yup, e-brake method. 2 step was only at 5800rpm!! But preloading it would build a nice solid 8lbs of boost, and soon as I let her rip it ramped to 34-35lbs in 1st gear, the ramp is damn near straight up. This thing spools quick.

60ft's were all fairly consistent too. All pre loading the clutch.
1st pass 1.52 60ft.
2nd pass 1.50 60ft.
3rd pass 1.52 60ft.

Just need to work on my 1-2 shift and bring the 330ft. down to 4.1 or 4.0 and she will go 9.6x-9.7x

Do you burn up the clutch preloading it that way?

I just lightly pre-load, It's a twin disc so it can take it. A normal single disc clutch would burn up very quickly though.

This is what I love and just what I want! Love the fact that you DD it, if I keep my Evo I hope to do something similar...but for starts I'll be happy with a mid 11 sec DD.

Thanks man, it's a blast to drive on the streets, although the liter bikes don't like it much
When it's on the street rims/tires you would never even know it was a single digit car. Just looks like another evo with a FMIC and exhaust haha. Windows are pretty dark tint so nobody even see's the 8 point cage in it.
