Its already been established that the evo 8 has better gas mileage than the evo 9.

i say get the IXMR unless the VIIIMR is considerably cheaper (if so then just mod that)

I'm keeping my VIIIMR.

 

I spoke with a dealer on this matter, he told me that an EVO 9s gear ratio is pretty different from the VIII enough that the 5th gear in the 9 is almost equivilant to a 6 speed of the MR, I like the new look alot better as well without that grand prix like diamond chunk of plastic in the front end, the open grill is nice plus the 9 is NEWER than a new 05 MR lol.

 

if you look at a comparison of the two front grilles of the 8 and 9 .. it seems like the 9 simplified itself i guess ... some of the curves are like cut down from the 8 ... dont knoe if thats good

but its a more sleeker look with the 9 ....


i dont like the bare down MR just for that reason so i would take a Evo IX .. thatd be fine with me =)
