i honestly think that 4cly cars do not need dual exhaust, even though it does'nt look that bad i've seen worse, i guess i think that only v8 should have dual

Personally if you like it do it, would i do it, no. Do i like the look, not really i prefer the single exit, thats just me... Personally i would rather do a straight through side exit :/

i don't like the dual setup. You don't need the extra weight. The way to go is full Ti, or side exit for track days / strip...

Since you don't care about the weight (which isn't THAT much), and you don't care about racing or performance, then go for it. It doesn't look bad to me. You guys say dual exhaust doesn't belong on a four cylinder? Well tell honda to stop producing S2000s with dual exhaust.

My take on this is: it's your car, your money, do whatever you want with it.

HOWEVER, judging by how this thread is shaping up so far, probably 70% of other Evo owners will be laughing at you if they see your car.

If you are alright with it, then go for it, post pictures when you're done.

Yeah, just about every car manufactured today with 2 or more exhaust outlets has a single pipe going to a cat and teeing out the back just for looks.

The most extreem case of this are those pontiacs, which in any respect would be faster w/o the extra attached weight.

However in the above evo's case, with the exhaust gasses being much more dense by the time it reaches the tail plumbing, I would theoretically guess that the better flowing catback in this car outweighs the extra weight. Especially with a heavily modded car, and especially at 7000 rpms and above.

Belive me, more restrictive catbacks may give lower end torque benifits, but up top increases knock - the biggest killer in being fast.

In respect to the post above, I really don't think 70% of viewers are laughing, I'm willing to bet most like it but just don't feel it's worth the cost.
