You know what, if ALL you're going for is looks.....I say the first pic. looks pretty sweet. Granted it doesn't make any sense in terms of performance like most people are saying. Then again unlike most people I understand you are simply talking about looks and just want to know what people think. So strictly in terms of looks I think it looks cool and gives the car a more aggressive stance from the back. I would never do it though.

I don't like it. However, if that is what you want to do it's your car. If every car was done the way I like they would all look like my car and that would p*ss me off.

No, I think it looks ricey.

Yeah, I said ricey. I wear clothes that make people know that I'm a cracker, as well. While I'm at it, guess what kind of primate sits on my porch. I live in in a land of greasers. Why are petroleum products so expensive over here? Get over it. I don't have to be politically correct. Stop oppressing me with your hippie / Rodney King ways of thinking.

1 engine bank = 1 exhaust outlet.
2 engine banks = 2 exhaust outlets....if needed.

I prefer form to follow function. That's why I bought the Evo instead of...um...anything else.

Thumbs up

I like it. I have an A4 1.8T, it has dual tips, and it's a 4-banger. Ignore the haters, if any 4-banger deserved dual tips/exhaust, it would be the EVO!

What do you say 'bout an BMW M3 then? Inline 6, but has dual exhaust/quad pipe..

On production Evos: 1 tip. It's the image, and that's plenty. So, naturally, I don't think the X should have it.
On a modded Evo: It would look good. Two tips will look different from the rest. Why not? Go for it...

If it was a clean install then go for it. IMO, I prefer dual exhaust versus single. This really hinges on if you can find a shop to do a clean install (and if the EVO has the room under there). I've seen too many poor installs that really make it look cheap. Examples: piping hanging below skirt, second exhaust opening not cut right or poorly cut...these are the things that would get you laughed at.
