Where do you guys mount your turbo timers?

i was thinking of putting it in the ashtray since i dont us it anyway. But because i have the hks type 1, i dont think i will be able to make it fit and still have the flip up lid.

^^^ damn that is the hawtness! very clean looking!

i have my Apex-i TT mounted on top of my steering colum (sp?). its out of the way and still within reach.

Easy. Pull off your AC knobs and remove the brass colored screws. Unscrew the bezel screws around the instrument cluster (the right edge holds the left end of the dash trim in place). Both panels unclip from the dash. Be firm to pull them off but smooth and gentle. As shown, you may have to remove part of the bracket behind the clock.

Super glue, ABS plastic, and velcro. Pics tell the tale

hmmm...I'm really lovin the TT in the ash tray. Has anyone else done this besides Mycre8n? I would like to know more about how to do this and make it look pretty clean. Also if anyone is in norcal that knows how to do it cleanly please let me know.

I put mine under the gauge plate above the ashtray on the console....I will get some pics today.

A few of you have PM'd me with requests of a write up on how to put the turbo timer in the ash tray. I added some instructions and have a pretty good set of pictures showing how I did it. Can only post the pics in one thread so here it is:
