Blitz FATT w/ HKS Harness Install

I'm just going to provide links to pics so the thread isn't 20 miles long.

-Tools You'll Need:
-Phillips screw driver
-10mm socket & wrench
-Drill & 1/2" & 3/8" bit
-Extra tie downs

1) Remove the three (3) screw under steering colum. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00635.jpg
2) Remove the two (2) screws on underdash & remove coin holder. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00636.jpg
3) Remove the 10mm bolt behind the coin holder. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00637.jpg
4) Remove the headlight leveling & diming wiring. Let hang. This will help by freeing up some room.
5) Remove and install the wiring harness on steering collum. Make sure you hook up the purple e-brake wire to the harness. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00639.jpg
6) I tied down the wiring harnes so it doesn't get in the way of the steering wheel. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00640.jpg
7) Remove the center consol. Remove two (2) screws in the arm rest storage. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00641.jpg
8) Pull up from behind the arm rest. Should just pop right out. Becare of the I/C spray button wiring. Just detach I/C Spray and place consol to side.
9) Remove the plastic retainer by drivers right foot. Just unscrew w/ phillips screw driver. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00642.jpg
10) Remove 2nd plastic retainer by driver's right foot. Do this by pushing the center in and pull out. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00643.jpg
11) Remove cover by passenger's left foot and repeat step ten (10). http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00646.jpg
12) Remove ashtray and remove the screw underneath. Also unscrew the shift knob. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00645.jpg
13) Remove two (2) screws at base of center consol. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00647.jpg
14) Lift consol up and back to remove. Unlatch the wiring that is attached. Place to side.
15) I mounted the main timer here: http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00648.jpg
-Just used the double sided tape provided. I did use a cleaner to remove any dirt/oil/grease that might be on the timer and/or the place I mounted it to.
15) I found these two (2) screws, on the passenger side, a perfect place to ground the two (2) black wires. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00649.jpg
16) I ran the purple E-brake wire along the passenger side. Attach it to the E-brake wiring. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00650.jpg
-Make sure you have a good conection. If not the timer will not work. This is to prevent someone getting into your car while counting down and driving off. Once the E-brake is released the timer shuts off.
17) Get the front center consol w/ the ashtray and shifter leather. I mounted the timer display behind the shifter. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00652.jpg
-Once again clean real well. Don't want the timer to fall off becasue you ArmorAll the crap out of your car.
18) I drilled a 1/2" hole on the side to run the display wiring. http://gallery.getsideways.net/album...s/DSC00651.jpg
-You'll need it to be 1/2" so the connection will fit through. The second 3/8" hole is just so a tie down will hold the wire in place.
19) Run the display wire to the main timer consol and connect.
20) Test timer first!!! Don't replace everything till you make sure the timer works! If the timer does not work 1st check the e-brake connection. If that doesn't help check all connections. If that doesn't work, called Blitz.
21) Once everything is working put your car back together and enjoy.

Here is a couple pics of my final product:
