personally i really like the 8000-10000k hids even though they're suppose to project less visibly on the road. something light blue or true blue is sexy, although it seems awkward that the oem 4300k bulbs have a faint blue hue, which is nice too.

xenon depot uses phillips bulbs and ballasts, definitely the best.

What type of bulbs do you have to buy?

Anyone know the difference between 9004 and D2s?

D2S is the standard for OEM HID bulbs in projector beams. Regular Evo's with halogen projectors use 9006s. D2S is better, but I don't know if its design means it won't fit in a housing designed for a 9006 bulb.

I have a MCullough H3 6000K kit in my Eclipse, I'll try to get a decent pic on here later. It is blue enough for me, after 6000K IMO, it gets too blue and looks ricey and doesn't put out enough decent light and with too much glare. But, to each is own.

The Xenondepot looks interesting.

They are claiming plug and play with no splicing.

Anyone have any comments on that ?

Anything above 6000k is worthless and only for show. I'd stick with a xenon depot 4300k kit. You get the most lumens, and the projectors make the color look amazing.
