Evo MR and SSL package question
On 
's site when you go to build and price and hit reg. IX you can select SSL. When you hit MR you cant ("Your selection comes fully equipped; no additional option packages are available."), but in the decription of the car it decribes a non SSL ("140-watt CD audio system with six speakers", no sunroof talked about)
What's the deal? I wasn't under the impression MR came standard with SSL, or samely that you couldn't get it...

MR don't come with SSL. I got the SSL IX. The stereo absolutely sucks. Actually, i think the stereo in my old '04 evo was better than the premium SSL stereo. You can barely hear the sub, the sub distorts easily, and no midbass whatsoever in the interior speakers. However, the leather, sunroof, and HID are very nice...
^^Nope....That's why I opted for the '05 SSL. I was going to change out everything anyways and wanted a sunroof and leather. To me all that $$$ just to only end up with a 6 speed didn't seem worth it.

But I would take 6 speed/blistens/shark fins(the votex things) over SSL.

The HID's did it for me. I kinda like sunroofs, could have done with out it. I knew the sterero would be weak and would get removed. I thought the leather was okay, but mainly because it covered the blue in the seats which I always hated. The new IX seats look good tho'. The HID's, I just could not do without.

I'm not concerned if he was going to change out the lightweight BBS rims, the lightweight aluminum roof (nope, got the heavy sunroof), and the awesome Bilstein shocks. I just said that "luckily," that's not all we got for the extra cost.
