I understand but this makes no sense. If yo said that they run 3 times and use the best run details I'll accept. Maybe they took the best run + best reaction time to give timing. You completely lost me with the method (or idea) of compensating for wheel spin.

Regarding the Mustang... Did THEY (Motor Trend) test it at 13.4 (same day) or was that another test report to which you refer? If it's another (as I suspect), then thats ok as various conditions can change times.

They both look ridiculous, but the Subaru's styling is definitely going the wrong way.

It's nothing new, they've been neck to neck every year..

Cars are historically on par with each other, +/- a tenth or two.

couldnt agree more...evo used to be the lesser of the two evils, but now it's a beauty queen compared to the STi

Motor Trend must have some professional drivers getting those times. I've never seen any stock evo run that fast. For that matter, I've never seen any stock STi run that fast either. The fasted stock time I've ever witnessed for either car was a 13.6 from an 04 Evo.

I really like the new ST'I'. Suburu did a nice job on the update. I also like the IX, but the changes are less subtle than the Scoobie.

Every car is a couple tenths of a second slower out here cuz of the heat and a lil elevation. Most of the time they test cars where it is near sea level and the temp is around 72 degrees.
