Does anyone know how to do this? i've tried looking behind it and it seems I have to remove the bumper to get to the bolt? Any help?

 

damn there are bolts holding the badge on, I have never seen that before.

Usually it is just 3m adhesive, I will go look at the IX at the local mitsu dealer and see what I can find for ya..

 

Yea I wish it was 3m tape too but it wouldn't make sense on the front of these cars since it's a mesh and would be near impossible to stick on there with just tape. I looked under the hood again and Maybe just maybe I would be able to get in there with the right swivel socket and extensions, but that's still pushing it. Any help? Maybe I can get to it by removing the undercar tray.

 

Bump, anyone have any idea to remove the front badge off the IX easily without cutting it off.

 

Hit it with a hammer...........itll bounce off...............no cutting needed.............j/k

 

take the top plastic clips off and you should be able to lift it enough to stick your hand in it, unless your hands are extraordinarily large. just one phillips screw holding that badge.
