I'm 19 and took over the payments on my father's house when he moved out west. I guess I own my home, but i have roomates to pay me rent to help keep things easy.

I am post college, pre family. So, I guess apt. living is what I got. Who gives a crap what Supra guys say. Besides Evo guys are the same way with Honda guys. Launch on one and they will shutt up.

and i am building my third house as we speak.....
and i am not rich by any means, i just know when to hold em, and when to fold them
be smart about your money, there is no reason to ever use a credit card unless its a medical emergency. if you need that part, save for it

5 years ago I got my first mortgage when I was just 22. It was a duplex, I lived in half and rented the other half to help pay the mortgage. It was the best investment I could have made at the time. Couple of years ago I refinanced that place and used the equity to purchase my second home. In a couple more years I'm going to do the same thing with both places and by another one. The plan is to retire at 45.

I own my own home, but the ease at which people have built, flipped or cashed out their homes and expect appreciation to continue at 20%, or maybe more is coming to an end. Too many beginners in the arena, and when there is that many inexperienced players, people are bound to get hurt.
