I am curious how many of us are out there. I have worked hard pinched and saved to get my home paid off. I am currently 29 years old and an active duty military member.

The other forums like the Supra guys talk about us like we are all young and ignorant. This bugs me to no end.

Please take the poll so I can get an idea.

BTW, if you don't own your own home or aren't working on it then you really should start ASAP! My .02 cents

Smart choice! After you own a house interest rates are lower and once you get some equity in it you will be able to get at times 0%.

I'm 24 just moved in about 4 months ago to a newly built townhome with the options I wanted. Then I purchased my Evo.

 

Supra guys have no idea what they're talking about. There are plenty of guys here who own an Evo and have a mortgage.

 

evo I would say atrracts a younger audience.. i DOUBT many have their home paid off... just IMO

So far it has been one of the best decisions that I have made. Owning a home makes alot of other things more affordable ie: car insurance, home owners ins, intrest rates. The benefits of owning your own home are never ending.

 

I agree to a point. I have seen some older folks driving them.
