before u close the poll, here is another story of our Evo 6 TME eating up a full race GTR

Although the Autoplus Evo managed a personal best, it wasn't enough for the team. They had asked for a by-run to attempt to smash the Philippine drag race record. The first pass didn't turn out very well, with the car only managing a low 11 second run. It turns out that Raymond Go, the driver had mis-shifted. With one last attempt remaining, the Autoplus crew spared no expense as they took out the Evo's rear wing and side mirrors. What was supposed to be a solo run turned into a grudge match as the Skyline GTR of D-Force volunteered to go side-by-side with the Evo. The sight of the two cars lining up drew cheers from the thousands of people in attendance. Tension filled the air as the staging lights for both cars went on. Dondi Montecillo, driver of the Skyline, redlighted, getting the jump on Go in the Evo. But the power of the Evo was just too much for the Skyline to handle. By third gear the Evo already had a big lead. Go mis-shifted 3rd to 4th and allowed the Skyline to catch up a bit, but the Evo still prevailed posting a 10.76 time against the Skyline's 11.0.

Amazing story bro ........... i Knew evos had it in them
befor if i had a chance to get a GTR i would befor i got the evo .... now .. am just addected to evos ....and am gono contact AMS soon to get my block ready ....
i need to make a 10 sec evo to join next years Bahrain drag race championship ....the bad thing is i will be classed as super street V6 and Inline6 rear wheel drive .

To be honest, GTRs are easier to modify but more expensive. you can extract more than 1000hp from a GTR than an Evo. If u want stock to stock, get the Evo. but if u want to modify, go for the GTR.

my personal opinion, i would go for the GTR over the Evo. Though our shop has both cars in place already, highly modified with more than 2000hp combined!!!

thats really good to hear, so if i ever see the one and only blue gtr r34 in ny i will race him and beat him. haha. actually now that i think about it, i think the r34 that i saw at a car show in ny might have been from cali. humm. it was a left hand drive too, soo sweet

thats an R33 GTR. pls take note: R34 GTR VSPEC II Nur was what we used agaisnt a TME.

No doubt the V is better than the R33 in the track.

And oh, this was our test drive, not BBC's. The track is in PI, and not UK.

srry if someone already asked u this i read like halkf of it and then got tired of reading so... you have a 5 speed mr? im very confused!!!! lol i know the 5 speed rs.......the 5 speed gsr and the 6 speed mr.......lol so unless u have an rs with mr parts on it i dont understand how u can have a 5 speed mr? a us version or not...they all come from japan!!! oh btw i hope u whip the **** outa the skyline!!! lol just cuz evos are better lol !!!!! good luck!!!

 

WTF You're comparing a VSPEC II NUR against a TME? That's not even a comparrison! NUR is HOW MUCH ****ING MORE? Has HOW MUCH MORE HORSEPOWER? Take a Porsche GT3 and compare it against a NUR that'd be more along the lines. I was talking BASELINE. Baseline GTR(R34, no Vspec II) vs Baseline Evo(GSR/RS), the Evo is faster AND cheaper.

 

He already stated there's no 6spd MR where he's from, it's more like an RS except it has the MR wheels and Blisten shocks.

 

It is JDM Version RS MR.In JDM,there are three diffrence trim,one is RS 5speed trans,6speed trans RS and GSR.The RS 5 speed is the lightest version,it's weight only 1240kg(A little under 3000lbs).It has no AYC,No Recaro,No Brembo,15" rim and tire,Small brake,Type 1 sterring,Air cond and radio etc etc......And it has Higher Performence Turbochager.For AYC,Recaro,17",Brembro,Type 2 sterring,Air Cond and radio is optional.
