ok y friend just bought a 2002 skyline GTR34
amazing car ..............real amazing car ..
its just a peace of art ..
the car is stock he just instaled a Truse Exhaust system thats it ..and I have the JIC exhsaust system .
my car is the 2005 5speed MR ...
I offerd to race him as he is one of my close baddys and he accepted ... the rest of the guys where laughing at me and said i would get my *** wiped so bad ..... we where 31 guys together and 9 voted i would lose and the GTR would kick my *** ... 2 said would win ..the rest didnt say any thing ..
so the question here what do u guys think would be the fianl result .... the race will be tommrow .

 

Allright I'm confused.........where did you find a 5 speed MR? and you say you have an exhaust...and in your signature you have like 1 million mods........I say quit worrying about it, and go race his monkey ***

 

if he is stock and you have your current mods you should be able to smoke him. but if both you and him are stock aside from exhaust then it would be a good driver's race.

 

ya bro .... will am not from the USA .... over here we dont get the 6speed MR we only get the 5speed MR wich is a MR not GSR but the MR RS its exactly the same as the RS but has all the MR feturs like the aluminam top ...light BBS ... bilistine suspentions ...every thing ...and its much lighter than the GSR.

ya about the part in my sig ...all those parts i have but didnt install them yet ..
i got all those part from adam in Z1 performance and i cant wate to install them on my car .
thats why i went and did a 1/4 mile run and got 13.7 flat with a miss shift from 2nd to 3rd .
thats why i want to use my friends car as a base line with the 1/4 mile i did .
am sure i can be in the 12's with tose mods

but for now only the exhsut is on . but not for long .

ok first of all it off a dig? The skyline is pretty quick and so is the evo. But the evo has a very slight advantage. I would say a driver's race but i put my money on the skyline.

 

guys put in mind the weight diffrence ?
and thy say the GTR is 280 but its is in fact under rated as i read in some mags !
thy say its somthing like 320 + hp
but in japan thy had to say 280 hp to be a legal car .

Once you launch good it will be close. The skyline, even stock, has amazing speed, but terrible lag. I think it's his race once no one makes any driving errors.

 

did u guys check the 1/4 mile times for both stock cars .... i checked it
the skyling GTR34 (13.7)
the Evo8 (13.5)
the Evo RS wich is so close to mine but i have more things to make it lightes and more stable (13.3)

 

I'd go with the Evo, but i guess i would be biased Thats a tuff call, give us an update when you win.

GT-R > Evo

GT-R is under-rated, due to the japanese agreement, it was held at factory 280hp, but its really estimated at 320hp. The evo is estimated at 276hp. Plus, he has an exhaust system too, not like the GT-R is restrictive down there, but they can gain big power from opening up even more. Also you said Truse exhaust? Do you mean TRUST? They make awesome catbacks and TBE systems.

That's what nissan rates it. It's well known a stock R34 GT-R can run low 13's, and *can hit high 12's. Just run and let us know who won.
