i changed the transfer case fluid...and im gonna do the manual transaxle...i guess i will be using sae 75w-85w or 75w-90

are the rear diff and rear axle 2 different things? can i use the same oil (GL5 from mitsubishi) for the rear diff or rear axle?

Don't use diff oil (transfer case oil) in the transmission. I'm using Royal Purple 90 Weight GL5 Synthetic Gear Oil in my center and rear diffs. And Redline 75/90 GL4 (aka MT90) for my Trans. More horsepower and better gas mileage compared to conventional oil.

Edited for Clarity.
