searching is good, but usually you only get one sided info, I'm not backing anyone here just saying that it is good to also get the word from the shop so that we can see the whole picture. Hopefully, anyone doing business with any type of vendor will do their own research and make a good decision in the end.

No car can be imported into the US from Japan for street use legally unless it is older than 25 years. Even Motorex can no longer imports Skylines anyone that tells you other wise is a con-artist and is doing something illegal.

Sorry, CELM is not a vendor on this site.
Let's keep this thread on the topic of who can import cars to answer the thread starters questions only. I will not have another EI battle, there are enough on this forum.

Thank you.

Since CELM did not get it he gets a week off for breaking the rules.

There will be no more talk of EI in this thread or it goes in the trash. If you want information about EI cars do a search.

Thank you AznX TL, at least someone gets the point.

I don't want another one of those EI threads.

I think I will report this to NHTSA, EPA, and U.S. Customs. No RHD vehicle can legally be imported into the US unless it is over 25 years for age. The Skyline GTR was the only exception because M____ did the crash testing and provided data. Now that M____ has had their status permanently revoked for reason I won’t get into here. No RHD vehicle can be imported for street use legally. There are back door ways for doing things that are extremely risky and illegal.

I get upset when I see people taking advantage of these kids that don’t know any better.
Here is the NHTSA, and Customs web site as you can see the Skyline GTR is the only RHD vehicle that is legal for street use.

PS. I took out any names to be respectful of the forum.
