wat so good about the APR wide body kit
Well, if your original question was whether it was any good or not, check with John Mueller at Roadrace. They installed one on their SCCA ITE race EVO and had to do extensive modifications to make it work (wheel articulation was a big issue). This is not to say the kit isn't any good for street use (although cosmetically, there is a football size concave surface issue in the rear fender. not so good.) The kit itself seems pretty well built and better then most if you see it in person before it gets painted.
Sorry i didnt mean wheelbase i meant the distance between the 2 front wheels or between the 2 back wheels. I know fitting wider tires makes better straight line traction, but how does it affect turning? I think somebody earlier in the thread said "wider means better handling" but i think that is a pretty vague, unimformed statement. I know when you alter the factory steering geometry there has to be some tradeoff in performance. Does it make turn-in slower or anything like that?
apr wide body so cool looking. but think how much money it is for it to be put on and all that. its like what 2-3g for it plus the install and body work and that like 2-4g right. plus rims so i would say need a safte 8g for it all right.
We had an APR bodykit at our shop but ended up sending back due to just the absolute horrible fitment. It needs extensive bodywork to get perfect fitment. Even the fiberglass quality was poor. Very wavy and rough edged. Looks sick though.
