LOL. Paul, you already know you are the official SmoggySpec driver. We definitely need to hit the track again at some upcoming event.

Easy there sparky. All I'm saying is that there is "racing development" in the ecotec 4. I agree that they are not really production based cars, just stating a fact that there is a lot of R&D behind the cobalt motor, if not the car so much.

see... this is what i'm confused about... there were a SLEW of cars there... i can't find that stupid thread cuz i was looking for it (it had a link to LOTS of pictures) there but EVERY big name car was there. the cwest all cf s2k was there, MANY fully done diffusered rx7s were there, the signal skyline was there, i think robi was there... so WTF??? how did all these other cars NOT place? and then more than that... how did they all get embarassed by this cobalt (nothing against the cobalt), but i mean these cars really LOOKED hardcore... were they just soft?

That's why I used the term "platform" in my first post about its development. My name is David, BTW.

Ya know I like to believe that certain cars should, could, or would be better, but in the end the Cobalt spanked the field. What can you say? The car had the better driver? The better platform? The best combination of all of the above? Who knows, but in the end it won bette luck to all of the imports next time.

Do you know what configuration you were running at Buttonwillow?

The Cobalt must have had a professional driver the time is so far ahead....

Other shops/cars have brought out professional drivers before, that's nothing new. Was it not Tarzan or NOB that won it first?

did anyone see how much nitrous the cobalt was running? it's ridiculous... they had like 20 bottles at their station, enough to level the entire tent area.

Can't wait

Hey all, what is the difference between "Limited" and "Unlimited"? Is it just a tire thing or is there more to it than that?
