Or you can just go buy some red tint and do it yourself for super cheap. I did it with black tint and it looks DAMN good! Also painted the inside of my headlights my self and saved a few hundred bucks. Good luck

I didn't say anything bout dave's work not being good. I just said don't go the cheaper route, get the VII taillights. If you like cheap mods/parts get a Honda.

Ok Evokid truce. I see your point I just don't see the point in spending teh extra 100-200 for VII's when I can get the identical piece from Dave cheaper. Just my opinion. I would rather spend money on the engine though...

sorry but the red vinyl overlays looks like and *** sandwhich compared to the real thing. They are worth every penny.. and also help in de-ricing your evo.

how are they identical at all? One has a pink looking reverse light that shows through clear ( still dont understand how that works) and red pin stripes.. the one your speaking of has neither.. plus you can clearly tell its a sticker... not the kind of cheap crap I would put on a 30K car.. maybe on a early 90s civic more like.

Allright, the UK Evo VII taillights are showed above, but maybe it was the VIII taillights, because they are also different from the US VIII:

Actually, a local member has red overlays and I think it looks better. It's a deeper shade of red than the "real" ones, which are slightly more orangy. Also, he painted all of his emblems black, which looks awesome on the GG...

I am not talking about the overlays killer, I am talking about EvoDave's VII taillights. You know the ones he paints, kinda like he does MR head and tail lights too, or custom lights in a color you specifiy....
