I think that depends on your age. If you are in a teenager in high school driving an EVO, then other people from your school may think you're rich. However, if you are older and a working professional, I seriously doubt others will think you're rich.

and im young too, 20 yrs old. i personally love the evo and dont care what ppl say, its a blast to drive. ive driven the is350 and its a fast car but too boring for my age lol.

quite the opposite. most of my co-physicians find nothing expensive about the evo.

haha, when I wear my street/bummy clothes on my day off I can pass for an 18 year old if I'm clean shaven.

Lets put it this way...Last time I drove one of my sales guys (I own the company) to a to a big sales meeting his quote was " I need to sell more so you can afford to buy a car that comes with some sort of suspension". My guys still make fun of me about that one.

Thats what one of my best friends told me when I got the EVO. He's like you bought an EVO???? You could have bought an Acura TSX or TL, or Lexus IS300 or even a 3 series BMW and get more girls....you're stoooppppid!!!

I get it a lot from my friends, like oh ask Tom he's got money... he's got an EVO! (Most of my friends drive 1000-20000 cars). Funny thing is, since I have the EVO, Im in reality the poor one cause a lot of my money goes to the car! If I drove a $800 Honda around, Id be rich!

yeah thats becuse your doctor friends make enough money to be browsing the Porsche/Mercedes/BMW/Ferrari showrooms.....

For a doctor, buying an EVO probably is as easy as walking into a Hyundai showroom and walking out with an Elantra.....

On the more serious note, I have a few freinds who are doctors and they all drive the "corporate/professional" type cars.... Acura/BMW/Mercedes/Audi

my EVO is my 5th or so performance car. I had a 95 GSR, a 04 SRT4, an 91 MR2, 94 GSX, and now my bros S2k is in the house.

The lesson I learned earlier is not to max out your credit cards in the process of modding your car. Thats the fatal mistake I made when I had my 95 GSR..... spent so much money on engine mods that a turbo car can come along side me and still dust me anyway.

Now with my EVO, I'm paying for all or the majority of my major mods in cash....

On the other hand I have a credit line big enough to get whatever interior/power/appearance/handling mod I want and run 10's in the 1/4 but I;d be basically be digging my own grave for financial debt
